Brent Cross Thameslink railway station
Template:Infobox London station Brent Cross Thameslink (which may not be the name eventually chosen) is a planned Thameslink station on the Midland Main Line. It would serve the Brent Cross and the northern parts of Cricklewood and Dollis Hill areas of North London and the proposal is part of the Brent Cross Cricklewood development, which also sees an investment to Template:Stnlnk station further down the line.<ref name="brentcrosscricklewood.com">Brent Cross Cricklewood: The benefits Accessed 20 December 2010</ref>
The planned site
The station is planned to be on the current Cricklewood TMD (Traction maintenance depot) which is used by East Midlands Trains and First Capital Connect. The depot would be moved slightly south onto a bigger site.
Template:Stnlnk station is south of the planned station, and the developers of the Brent Cross Cricklewood development are planning to upgrade that station as well<ref name="brentcrosscricklewood.com"/> which they say would not happen if Cricklewood station were to close. Because of the proposed station, Cricklewood station platforms are not being extended to 12 carriage length, under the Thameslink Programme.
