Lower Marsh Market is a street market in Lower Marsh district, in the Waterloo neighbourhood adjacent to Waterloo railway station in the London Borough of Lambeth.

History
It was named after the 'Lower Marsh', since until the early 19th century much of north Lambeth (now known as the South Bank) was mostly marsh, hence the street's and market's names.<ref name="Mills">Template:Cite book</ref> Lower Marsh and The Cut formed the commercial heart of the area from the early 19th century.
