Wolf & Badger
Wolf & Badger is a "serviced retail" business. Spaces within its stores and online are licensed to independent fashion, jewellery and design brands. The business allows its carefully selected member designers to act as their own retailers and keep the bulk of sales revenue, as well as gain exposure to press, industry and trade buyers. The designers selected for inclusion at Wolf & Badger are carefully selected and have included many 'New Gen' winners from London Fashion Week such as Bora Aksu.
The first Wolf & Badger boutique opened in February 2010 and was named one of Britain's Best Boutiques in the April 2010 edition of British Vogue and in 2011 was picked by Time Out as the sixth Best Shop in London. The Wolf & Badger business model has been recognised as revolutionary and has seen Wolf & Badger selected as one of the Walpole Brands of Tomorrow 2010. The Walpole is an organisation set up to promote British luxury. The Wolf & Badger co-Founder and Managing Director - George Graham - was also named the Confederation of British Industry Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011.
In August 2010, Wolf & Badger operated a Summer Residency in the Wonder Room of the flagship Selfridges department store on Oxford Street in London, and in 2011 opened a summer store in the luxury marina of Porto Montenegro. In 2012, the brand expanded further with the opening of its new flagship store on Dover Street in Mayfair. Like its first store, this space was designed by emerging Royal College of Art architecture graduate Augustus Brown.
Wolf & Badger now provides a platform to raise awareness of and support independent designers from the UK and elsewhere and the company continues to run a Graduate Design Awards program for top graduates, now in its third year.
