Grey Court School is a coeducational secondary school with academy status, located in Ham, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, England. It is twinned with Alexander-von-Humboldt-Gymnasium in Konstanz, Germany. The school has received an "outstanding" rating from Ofsted.<ref name="Ofsted">Template:Cite web</ref> From September 2014 it will have a sixth form.<ref name=SixthForm>Template:Cite web</ref>

The school occupies a large complex in Ham, dating back from the 1950s. The school's current head teacher is Maggie Bailey.

History

The school was opened in 1956 to provide education for the children of the newly constructed Ham Estate. The school was built in the grounds of a Georgian house called Grey Court House. The school would take its name from the house. The house itself was renamed Newman House after Cardinal Newman who lived there as a child in the early part of the 19th Century.
